internet options  "some settings are managed by your system administrator"
When I open IE8 a Turkish (unofficial) Google page opens--www.art415.com. This is included in the internet options but it is greyed out and the above message is at the bottom of the box. This is a single PC at home and I am the system admistrator. How doI get rid of this hijack?Thank you

HiI think that this a fake page that has nothing to do with Google and should avoid connecting to it.If this became your home page, then look at the Browser options and change it. Jack-MVP Windows Networking. WWW.EZLAN.NET

Hi Thank you for your response. I am unable to act on your advice because the browser panel of internet options is greyed out and there is a warning on the page bottom that "some settings are managed by your system administrator"-who should be me. What I think may have happened is that I deleted the trojan before Essentials found it. This may have left the effect on winlogon.Would re-installing IE8 would restore the admin authority? The trojan was ,I think, Orsam. My set up is XP home SP3Thank you Les
